Prerequisite: DNS TXT record set:
_qident.example.com → "v=qident1 address=0x…"
Transparency: Your domain name is stored in plaintext on-chain — DNS records are public by definition. The service re-checks your DNS record on every identity lookup. If the record is removed, your claim will be flagged and automatically revoked after a 48h grace period. Your email address is never stored in plaintext — only as a SHA3-256 hash, both on-chain and off-chain.

Transparency: Your LEI and legal entity name are stored in plaintext — the GLEIF register is a public database by design. This enables verifiers to display your organisation name and confirm your identity without on-chain bloat.

QIDENT links your blockchain wallet to your real-world identity — email, domain, organisation, or person. The proof is anchored on the QAN Blockchain and verifiable by anyone.
Private data (email, personal ID) is stored only as a SHA3-256 hash — the original value cannot be reconstructed. Public claims (domain, organisation) are stored as plaintext on-chain because DNS records and LEI numbers are public by definition.
Follow the QAN Testnet Setup Guide:
| L0 | Wallet | Anonymous — just a blockchain address |
| L1 | OTP verification — self-attested | |
| L2 | Domain | DNS TXT record — proves domain ownership |
| L3 | Organisation | LEI lookup — verified legal entity |
| L4 | Person | eIDAS (BundID / EUDI Wallet / Stripe KYC) |
